You can make a difference in the New Tampa and Wesley Chapel community by taking part in the "More Than Conquerors Unity Walk" on Saturday, April 3, 2010. The Unity walk is in celebration of cultural diversity, community and better health.

R. Lockett Ministries and R. Lockett Jr. Pastor of Bethany Christian Discipleship Church New Tampa, FL encourages you to get your walking shoes ready to hit the streets for this fun filled challenge.

The “More Than Conquerors” Unity Walk is Saturday, April 3rd.

Time: Gathering at 6:30AM - Starting at 7:15AM

Free shuttle transportation from the finish line to the starting line will be available from 6:00AM to 7:30AM.

R. Lockett Ministries and the members of Bethany have invited other area churches, businesses, school and community groups to join them as they “Walk for Unity in the New Tampa Community.”

The “More Than Conquerors Unity Walk” Team Captains welcome you to join one of the twelve teams as a participant. Teams are working diligently to raise awareness and funds. They will be displaying lots of Team Spirit on the day of the event. If you are unable to take part on the day of the walk, you may contribute to the success of the event through donations. Donations are tax deductible.

Proceeds from the event will be used to aid in the success of our continued commitment to further equip and empower the members of our community through projects such as You've Got To Make It "YGTI" (which ensures that our children and youth are not lost and do not fall through the cracks), Financial Credit and Empowerment "FACE", Aids Support and Prevention “Operation ASAP”, Greater Than (>) Helping Those Recovering From Substance Abuse, CHAZON Hebrew for Vision and many others.
